Michael Phelps broke the 400-meter individual medley record by a full second at the US Swimming Olympic Trials being held in Omaha Nebraska.

“That was probably one of the most painful races of my life,” Phelps said. “Everything was left in the pool. I definitely would not have been able to do it without Lochte beside me. He’s a great friend and a great competitor. I love racing him”

This just in, Michael Phelps is a pretty good swimmer

Manny Pacquiao is still the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world after he knocked out challenger David Diaz in the 9th round of their Saturday night fight.

“I feel much, much stronger and more powerful at 135,” said Pacquiao, who began his boxing career at 106 pounds. “This is where I plan to stay. I did real well. I was really surprised it wasn’t stopped sooner.”

Unfortunately if your not a die-hard fan of boxing you probably have no idea who Pacquiao is and you have no idea what your missing. Pacquiao is a phenomenal boxer and his style always makes for an exciting fight.

Well it’s official, Wimbledon sucks. Just a day after Maria Sharapova was defeated, fellow tennis beauty Ana Ivanovic was upset by 133rd-ranked Zheng Jie.

“Sometimes you need a punch to realize what you have to work on,” Ivanovic said. “You have to accept that not every shot you’re going to hit is going to be perfect. There are going to be quite a few bad bounces. That’s something I found a little bit hard to deal with.”

All the hot chicks are losing, time to boycott Wimbledon.

Don’t cry Ana, I still love you. (ps: give me a call ;) )
