Americans Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh became the first duo to ever win consecutive Olympic beach volleyball gold medals after they beat China’s Wang Jie and Tian Jia 21-18, 21-18 on Thursday.

How they’ve fared in the 2008 Summer Olympics: There’s actually conflicting info on whether or not these twins are actually competing in the Olympics at all, and I haven’t been able to dig up anything that says conclusively either way. But they are synchronized swimmers, and we’re going to go ahead and call that close enough, because come on, look at them.
