Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia has been named the AL Most Valuable Player.
“Last year, when I came to spring training, everybody was talking about a sophomore slump,” Pedroia said.

Last year Mercury Morris didn’t hide his hatred for the New England Patriots but he’s actually a fan of this years last undefeated team, the Tennessee Titans. Morris says they remind him of his unbeaten 1972 Dolphins team.
Pistons veteran Rasheed Wallace may have a future in coaching. In the recent Pistons win over the Lakers Wallace could be seen trying to coach up Kwame Brown on the bench.

Dallas Mavericks billionaire owner Mark Cuban is being accused of insider trading for avoiding $750,000 in losses on a stock sale by using confidential information.
“As we allege in the complaint, Mamma.com entrusted Mr. Cuban with nonpublic information after he promised to keep the information confidential. Less than four hours later, Mr. Cuban betrayed that trust by placing an order to sell all of his shares,” Scott W. Friestad, deputy director of the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, said in a statement.
