NFL suspends Donte’ Stallworth indefinitely

The National Football League has suspended wide receiver Donte’ Stallworth indefinitely after he pleaded guilty to killing a pedestrian while driving drunk.

“The conduct reflected in your guilty plea resulted in the tragic loss of life and was inexcusable,” Commissioner Roger Goodell wrote in a letter explaining the suspension. Read the rest of this entry »

Stallworth pleads guilty, will serve 30 days in jail

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte’ Stallworth pleaded guilty to killing a pedestrian while driving drunk in Florida. Stallwort agreed to a plea bargain that will require him to serve 30 days in jail. After his jail time he will also be required to serve 2-years of house arrest and spend eight years on probation.
