#4 Pittsburgh beats #1 Connecticut

The 4th Ranked Pittsburgh Panthers beat the top-ranked Connecticut Huskies 76-68 on Monday night in one of the most physical games this season.
“That was the most physical game I ever played in my entire life,” Panthers Sophomore forward DeJuan Blair said after the game.
Connecticut coach Jim Calhoun said his team wasn’t prepared for Pittsburgh’s physical style of play.
The Big East games in the 90s were like this,” he said after having his team’s 13-game winning streak stopped. “They came in here and played a style of basketball we haven’t seen this year and it was effective against us. … They made big plays and we didn’t. It was a hell of a basketball game.”
These two teams meet up again on March 7th in Pittsburgh.
