6 NFL Legends Inducted Into The Hall Of Fame

Legenday NFL defenders Bruce Smith and Rod Woodson were among the six former greats to be inducted into the American Football Hall of Fame this weekend.
“It’s an honor. I thought about what I was going to say, but to be on this stage, it’s a whirlwind,” Woodson said while giving his enshrinement speech. “It’s more than putting on the jacket — it’s being part of the elite team of pro football. I’m very humbled.”
The other inductees were, Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson, guard Randall McDaniel, receiver Bob Hayes, and the late Derrick Thomas.
“And, yes, today does culminate the life of a great NFL player who did so much on and off the field for his community, a life that ended too young,” former Kansas City Chiefs president Carl Peterson at the end of Thomas’ induction speech. “It must be said, my son, Derrick, you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. Derrick, you’re in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. And, no one can ever take that from you.”
Congratulations to all the inductees, every one of them deserve the honor.
