Andre Iguodala was able to make a 22-foot game winning jumper with just 2.2 seconds left in regulation to win game 1 over the Orlando Magic 100-98 on Sunday night.

“We won one more game than people thought we would win,” Iguodala said while celebrating after the game. “I was pretty amped up.”

Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said his team was unfocused and not prepared for Philadelphia’s intensity.

“I was very surprised at the effort,” Van Gundy said. “I was surprised not only for our lack of intensity defensively, but I was really surprised with our lack of focus.”

Orlando lost on their home court in front of all their fans and now the 76ers have the home-court advantage.

“It’s a loss on your home court and now home-court advantage is toward them,” Forward Rashard Lewis said. “But this is the playoffs. It’s not the NCAA tournament. One game is not going to eliminate you.”
