After their magnificent win over the Texas Longhorns on Saturday the Texas Tech Red Raiders have jumped to number 2 behind Alabama in the new BCS standings.
“We can play with anyone. There’s no doubt about that,” TT quarterback Graham Harrell said.
“At the same time, any team can beat you. In college football, I think everyone’s pretty much on an equal playing field right now. Last year when you saw Michigan go down to Appalachian State, you realized there’s even not that much difference between the (NCAA) divisions. In the Big 12, there’s not much of a difference between the teams.”
If the college football season ended today the #3 undefeated Penn State Nittany Lions would be the odd team out of the National Championship game but luckily for them, the season isn’t over yet. As we’ve seen every year, upsets always happen; I’m willing to bet that one or more of the 3 undefeated teams will get upset before it’s all said and done.
