Although the trade is not yet official, Allen Iverson has announced via Twitter that he’ll soon sign a contract with the Memphis Grizzlies.

“God Chose Memphis as the place that I will continue my career,” Iverson tweeted.

Later, the Grizzlies front office confirmed the deal.

“The Memphis Grizzlies have agreed in principle to enter into an agreement with free-agent guard Allen Iverson,” Grizzlies’ general manager Chris Wallace said in a statement. “We anticipate signing him to a contract very soon.”

With or without Iverson, the Grizzlies are going to suck. Atleast he’ll help sell some tickets and jerseys.
