Amani Toomer signs with Chiefs

Former New York Giants receiver Amani Toomer has decided to put retirement on hold for atleast one more year after he signed a contract with the Kansas City Chiefs on Tuesday.
“I never considered retirement. I was working out the whole time,” Toomer said. “I felt like I have a lot left and I’m here to prove it.
Although the Chiefs have one of the youngest teams in the National Football League, Toomer believes it’s the perfect situation for him.
“You look at the situation here, young team with a new coach with a great quarterback, it’s a great situation for me to be in.”
Toomer is 34-years old and doesn’t have much left as a football player. He is slow and not very strong, but he still has great hands and he’s capable of making some beautiful sideline catches.
