The Olympics are unfortunately already taking a darker turn, as a 47 year old man from the eastern Chinese city Hangzhou has killed an American tourist and wounded two others in Beijing.

The attacker then took his own life, jumping off the second story of the Drum Tower.

Reports are pretty sparse right now, but I’m sure we’ll see more about this in the coming days. Hopefully this will be the worst thing that happens in the next two weeks.
