The United States female soccer team will play for the Olympic gold against Brazil after defeating Japan 4-2.

“Brazil has a very talented team, but we are showing our talent, too,” Heather O’Reilly said. “You can’t just stop one person. We don’t have a big star, but we’re all capable of being stars.”

Surprisingly the American women have played in every gold medal match since Soccer became an olympic game.

The United States beat Brazil to win the gold in Athens but recently lost to them 4-0 in the semifinals of last year’s World Cup.
