It seems this week has not be kind on the tennis players.

First Ana Ivanovic has pulled out of Eastbourne grasscourt tournament.

Now World’s number 11 on the ATP list (aka British-only-hope-at-Wimbledon-this-year) Andy Murray has suffered a number of injuries at the Queen’s Club ATP Tournament.
Murray managed to hurt the thumb of his racket hand, he needed ahem treatment for his groin after a nasty tumble on the grass (tumble as in fall down not the other kind of tumble) and was also suffering from stiff neck.

While I agree the thumb injury is very dangerous for a tennis player and while I will not go into the nature of the groin treatment, stiff neck? Hm well hello, everyone has a stiff neck just brace yourself and get on with it. Stiff neck, honestly.

The good news is the thumb is just sprained not broken and Murray is positive this will not minimize his chances at Wimbledon.
