Andy Roddick has reached the 4th round at Wimbledon after beating Jurgen Melzer, 7-6 (2), 7-6 (2), 4-6, 6-3 on Saturday.

“I think the best I’ve played here was probably ‘04,” Roddick said. “But as far as comparing to ‘05, it’s probably similar.”

With the victory Roddick improves to 9-0 against Melzer.

Roddick will face 20th seed Tomas Berdych on Monday, who recently eliminated Nikolay Davydenko 6-2, 6-3, 6-2.
