Anquan Boldin Wants Out of Arizona
Wide receiver Anquan Boldin feels like he deserves a new contract but apparently the Arizona Cardinals feel differently so he has asked the team to trade him.
“If I’m not going to be treated fairly, if my hard work and loyalty isn’t going to be rewarded here, then let me go somewhere where it’s going to be rewarded. That’s how I feel,” Boldin said.
Boldin is a two-time Pro Bowl player and in the past 5 years he’s made 413 receptions for 5,458 yards including 29 touchdowns for the Cardinals but because he signed an extension with Arizona in 2005 he’s under contract with them until 2010.
He currently makes an average $4 million a year and compared to other star receivers he’s severely underpaid but he needs to stop listening to his money hungry agent (Drew Rosenhaus) keep his mouth shut and play this season without whining. Then the Cardinals will almost reward him with the big bucks next offseason.
