New York Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce doesn’t understand what he did wrong when he helped Plaxico Burress after the receiver shot himself in the thigh with an unlicensed gun.

“I am not sorry for how I acted that night. I am not sorry for how I responded,” Pierce said on Tuesday. “I am sorry for putting myself in position that I had to respond the way I had to respond. There [are] a lot of lessons I learned from this. I take them to heart and I take them seriously, obviously. It has been a lot of ups and downs.”

You’re not sorry for the way you acted? Wow. Maybe you should serve the next couple of years in prison too, right next to your buddy Plaxico.
