The Ball State Cardinals defeated the Western Michigan Broncos 45-22 Wednesday to finish the regular season with an undefeated 12-0 record.
“I’ve watched them suck every year,” Ball State senior, Jake Erdley said. “Finally, a winning season my senior year. An undefeated season. It’s awesome.”
Despite finishing the regular season undefeated Ball State won’t break the top 10 in any polls but it’s still a huge accomplishment for the school.
Ball State will face Buffalo next in the MAC Championship on December 5th. If they win, the Cardinals will get invited to play in a bowl game.
