Bloody hell now the Chinese authorities are telling people what they can or cannot wear during the Olympics.

The Capital Spiritual Civilization Construction Commission has issued another booklet that deals with 36 areas of acceptable and unacceptable behavior some of which includes:

• Go easy on the garlic consumption
• Men should shave daily and their hair should not be over their eyes, ears and collars
• Women have to go easy on the make-up and comb their hair according to their age, situation and occupation
• Women should avoid clashing colors and more then 3 groups of colors are inadvisable
• Handshakes should not be longer then 3 seconds
• No public displays of affection
• Men should not roll up their trousers or their vests and no naked chest in public
• Young women should not wear too short skirts and for older women skirts should definitely be below the knee. And if by chance they have fat legs they should wear dark stockings
• No transparent or leather clothes is advisable

You know what it is really? This Spiritual Construction Commission is basically fashion police.
