In a bid to ease the traffic congestion Beijing authorities are pulling some 3 million vehicles off the streets and Beijing residents are forced to look into different methods of transport.

Residents will be allowed to drive their cars on alternate days and according to the numbers of their license plates.

So many have been forced to look into different methods of transportation – such as public transport, bikes, car pooling and even seeking cars with even number license plates at their local car hire companies.

Well at least they are being eco -friendly about it.
