According to sources, Cleveland Browns quarterback Brady Quinn will miss the rest of the season with a broken finger.

“Brady wanted to play,” the source said.

“If it was going to be fixed a week ago, it would have been virtually the same thing. Nobody had any idea what would happen if he’d just gone out and played with it. Doctors viewed it before then and thought he was OK to play.”

For most Browns’ fans this is officially marks the end of the 2008 football season. The dawg pound has always been in love with Brady Quinn. It doesn’t matter if Derek Anderson starts playing like Joe Montana they’ll still boo him, just because they like Quinn more.

Quinn will have another chance to run the Browns’ offense next season, but he’ll likely have to learn a new system from a new coach.
