Brandon Marshall reports to Broncos training camp

A unhappy Brandon Marshall surprised many when he showed up for the first day of Broncos training camp on Monday.
“He said he was coming and he showed up,” Marshall’s agent Kennard McGuire said.
Marshall has been publicly unhappy with Denver because they have been hesitant to discuss a long-term contract extension.
“I just want to be happy,” Marshall said. “At the end of the day I just want to be happy. There’s a lot of things going on off the field and I want to be able to put that stuff behind me. I want to go out there and catch some balls, score touchdowns and just grow.”
Marshall deserves a contract extension, but he made the right decision by reporting for camp. The Broncos know Kyle Orton and the offense can’t survive without him, so I’m sure they will begin contract negotiations soon.
