Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy has made up his mind; Brett Favre will never play another down in a Packers uniform.

“I’m not doing the PR thing anymore,” McCarthy said. “I’m coaching the football team. The football team has moved forward. The train has left the station, whatever analogy you want. The players want it resolved, “And you can talk to Brett about it. He feels bad about it. It’s time for them to talk about somebody else, and we talked about that as a football team. We’re a good football team, and we have an excellent opportunity to be a very good football team in 2008. We’ve had an extraordinary challenge dealing with this situation. A lot can be learned from it. But they definitely want this thing resolved as soon as possible.”

They only team the Packers are interested in trading Favre to are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but Brett has stated in the past that he does not want to play for a warm climate team.

My advice for Brett: Dress cool, your going to Tampa whether you like it or not.
