Browns beat Bills 29-27
The Cleveland Browns won a close game over the Buffalo Bills 29-27 on Monday Night Football.
“I can’t say enough for this being a big win for our team,” Browns QB Brady Quinn said.
“We ended up winning in the end. It wasn’t the way we wanted to, but a win is a win.”
In their past 2 games, the Browns have had a lead but still ended up losing the game in the 4th quarter. But not this time.
“We got tired of what happened the previous two weeks, getting a lead and losing it in the fourth quarter,” receiver Braylon Edwards said. “As a team, we rallied. We came together when we were supposed to and made the plays necessary to win.”
The Browns are an improving team with Quinn under center but they would have lost that game if Bills QB Trent Edwards wouldn’t have had his worst game of the season.
Edwards threw 3 interceptions and didn’t manage to throw one completion to star WR Lee Evans.
“It’s frustrating right now. I don’t really have any good answers,” Trent Edwards said. “I’m frustrated with myself and the way I performed.”
Both the Bills and the Browns have a bright future but they still have a lot to improve on.
