BYU’s huge victory over the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday impress the Associated Press so much that they decided to rank them as the 9th best team in the country.
“For the first time there were people at the airport to greet the team. About 2,000 people were out there when we got back,” BYU’s quarterback Max Hall said. “The overall atmosphere has been really cool and we’re enjoying it.”
Oklahoma only dropped 10 spots to #13, which is quite generous considering they were three-touchdown favorites over the Cougers.
With that said, BYU has no business in the top 10. Oklahoma would have destroyed them if Bradford could have stayed healthy.
