BYU Upsets #3 Oklahoma

BYU upset the #3 ranked Oklahoma Sooners 14-13 on Saturday after Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford sprained his throwing shoulder just seconds before halftime.
As of Sunday afternoon, the Sooners were already preparing to play a few games without Bradford under center.
“Whether he is here or is not here for this week and the weeks to come, we’re sitting right here at 0-1 and we’ve got to buckle it up and get moving in a quick direction and a positive direction,” offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson said.
Saturday’s loss proved that without Bradford, Oklahoma will not be able to compete for a National Championship, or even the Big 12 Championship.
Regardless of what we think, their players remain hopeful.
“This loss hurts,” Sooners offensive lineman Brian Simmons said. “But the last two or three years, the national champion has had one loss. There’s still a chance for us to accomplish our goals.”
If Bradford misses more than a couple of games, we’re not even sure Oklahoma is good enough to avoid a losing record. They need him back ASAP.
