For the 2nd week in a row the Arizona Cardinals have proved all their critics wrong after destroying the Carolina Panthers 33-13.

“Not many people had very nice things to say about us and didn’t give us a chance,” Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt said. “I think we’ve showed we can come to the East Coast and win a game. … We believe in ourselves. I like being the underdog, and we’re going to continue to be the underdog.”

The Cardinals defense proved to be one of the best in the league this year after picking off Panthers QB Jake Delhomme 5 times and holding Carolina’s dominant running attack to less than 100 yards.

“I’m at a loss for words,” Delhomme said. “Usually I’m not. For one reason or another, I didn’t give us a chance tonight.”

That should have been the last time we will ever see Delhomme start for the Carolina Panthers.
