The hottest tennis star in the world, Ana Ivanovic, has advanced to the 2nd round of the French Open after beating Sara Errani 7-6 (3), 6-3 Sunday in her opening match.

“I knew I had to work hard for my points today, and I’m very happy I did that,” Ivanovic said. “And I kept my composure.”

Ivanovic is the defending French Open champion but after missing this month’s Madrid tournament with a knee injury critics were wondering if she would be healthy enough to repeat.

I just have to keep my head down and work tough through the matches,” Ivanovic said.

Sports Crunch will be cheering for Ivanovic to stay in the tournament until the end. Without her, there’s really no reason for us to watch women’s tennis.

The hottest babe in tennis Ana Ivanovic has advanced to the 3rd round of the Australian Open defeating Italian Alberta Brianti 6-3, 6-2 Tuesday.

“As you progress through the tournament you come up against tougher opponents, so you automatically raise your level. I think I still have to work a little bit on my serve. It was much better today, but it’s still something I need to improve. “I know there is still lots of room for improvement. So that gives me confidence.”

Ana Ivanovic’s beauty continues to make womens tennis relevant.

Top seed Ana Ivanovic of Serbia has pulled out of an Olympic tennis tournament due to an injury to her right thumb.

“This is one of the hardest moments of my career and one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to take,” Ivanovic said. “I was so looking forward to playing here and being part of this occasion.”

“I’ve tried everything to recover and I’ve had more treatments in 10 days than I’ve had in my life.”

Maria Sharapova and Lindsay Davenport have also withdrawn from he tournament for various reasons.

Well it’s official, Wimbledon sucks. Just a day after Maria Sharapova was defeated, fellow tennis beauty Ana Ivanovic was upset by 133rd-ranked Zheng Jie.

“Sometimes you need a punch to realize what you have to work on,” Ivanovic said. “You have to accept that not every shot you’re going to hit is going to be perfect. There are going to be quite a few bad bounces. That’s something I found a little bit hard to deal with.”

All the hot chicks are losing, time to boycott Wimbledon.
