Bobby Cox retiring 2010

After signing a one-year extension on Wednesday, Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox announced that he will retire following the 2010 MLB season.

“They asked me to come back, and I said I would do it for one more year, and we’ll announce the retirement along with it. It’s the only way I think I’m ever going to walk away from the game, is to go ahead and say I’m going to, and then I’ve got to,” Cox said. Read the rest of this entry »

Griffey Returns Baseball

After days of debating between the Mariners and Braves, Future hall of famer Ken Griffey Jr. has signed a one-year contract worth $2 million with Seattle.

Skip Caray Passes Away

The voice of the Atlanta Braves, Skip Caray has died at the age 68.
