Griffey Returns Baseball

After days of debating between the Mariners and Braves, Future hall of famer Ken Griffey Jr. has signed a one-year contract worth $2 million with Seattle.

Houston Astros star shortstop Miguel Tejada has been charged for lying to Congress about an ex-teammate’s steroid use.

Alex Rodriguez sat down with ESPN’s Peter Gammons Monday and admitted testing positive for steroids 6 years ago when he was a Texas Ranger.

According to Sports Illustrated Alex Rodriguez tested positive for 2 anabolic steroids during his MVP 2003 season with the Texas Rangers.

As expected Major League Baseball would not confirm or deny the report.

The New York Yankees and pitcher CC Sabathia have reportedly agreed to a 7-year deal worth $161 million, a record contract for a pitcher.

“I’m sure every team in baseball would love to have him. He’s a guy who’s an intimidating factor on the mound,” Yankees captain Derek Jeter said.
