Generally, nobody gives a crap about the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. However, today was one of those extremely rare occasions when the school is actually getting some publicity.

In the video above, Guard Eric Valentin sets the record for most half-court baskets in one minute ever.

I certainly hope the kid enjoys the record while he has it. Lord knows it’s not going to last very long. I give it 48 hours, tops.

John Calipari Encourages College Students To Drink Alcohol

For some reason legendary Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari thought it would be a great idea to put his face on a bottle of bourbon. Maker’s Mark plans to only make 24,000 of these limited edition bottles and sell them at $49 each.

I can’t help but wonder what in the world made him think this was a good idea. A college student would get suspended indefinitely if they ever agreed to put their face on a bottle of alcohol, yet it’s totally okay for a coach to do it? Of course I know 90% of college students get drunk every weekend anyways, but why would the coach want to promote such behavior?

I’m curious, do all of his players at least get a free bottle, or are those only reserved for his potential recruits?
