The #1 Florida Gators proved to be the best team in college football Thursday night when they beat the Oklahoma Sooners 24-14 for the BCS Championship.

USC coach Pete Carroll doesn’t understand how the BCS works. Like many college football fans, he wishes there would be a playoff system instead.
