Boxer Roy Jones Jr. says he wants to fight UFC star Anderson Silva when Silva’s contract with UFC is over.

In the boxing ring it would be a very interesting fight, but in the octagon Jones would get killed. I would sure hope Jones could take Silva in the boxing ring, but lately his chin has been suspect at best.

Arturo Gatti suicide or murder

Late last week Arturo Gatti’s widow Amanda Rodrigues was released from jail after the police determined Gatto took his own life. Now, after a second autopsy, Brazilian authorities arn’t so sure.

“There were definite injuries that had not been seen by the Brazilian authorities, but one needs a lot of additional information, including a toxicology which isn’t available yet, to come to a conclusion as to whether it’s homicide or suicide,” former chief pathologist for the New York State Police Michael Baden said. Investigator’s have ruled Arturo Gatti’s death as a suicide, releasing his wife Amanda Rodrigues from jail.

Former welterweight and light middleweight champion Vernon Forrest was shot and killed on Saturday night during an attempted robbery.

David Haye continued to duck both Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko on Wednesday when he signed to fight a no talent circus freak named Nikolai Valuev for the WBA heavyweight championship on November 7th in Germany.

Former boxing champion Arturo Gatti was found dead at the age of 37 in a hotel room in Brazil on Saturday. Authorities are accusing his 23-year-old wife, Amanda Rodrigues, of murder.

Former Boxing Champion Alexis Arguello Committed Suicide

Former boxing champion Alexis Arguello was found dead, with a gunshot wound to the chest on Wednesday. Autopsy results are not yet known, but suicide is suspected.
