Thanks to an amazing leaping catch from substitute outfielder Dewayne Wise, Chicago White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle threw a perfect game against the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday.
Last years worst team the Tampa Bay Rays will play for a spot on the World Series after beating the Chicago White Sox 6-2 at U.S. Cellular Field on Monday.
“It means everything. We’ve been at the bottom of the barrel for so long,” Rays center fielder B.J. Upton said.
Chicago White Sox Manager Ozzie Guillen has recently said he isn’t looking for attention right now but when he wants it, he knows how to get it.
“Attention?” Guillen said. “If I want attention, I’ll do something stupid. Then I’ll get attention. That’s the only way you get attention in the United States, if you do something wrong.”
In Ozzie’s case, he does something stupid everytime he opens his mouth so that could explain why he’s always getting so much attention from the mainstream media.
Chicago White sox Manager Ozzie Guillen regrets bashing General Manager Kenny Williams and he has issued the following statement.
“When it’s a friendship and he thinks I threw him under the bus, that hurt my feelings. … I’m sorry the way he interpreted it. I truly believe he believed me. One thing about me, I’m not gonna lie. If I said it that way to Kenny, I’d say, ‘Listen, I apologize.’ But I didn’t say it that way.”
Ozzie you better get on your knees, pucker up and start kissing his ass because he’s the only reason you still have a job.
