New Orleans Hornets Star Chris Paul is the latest NBA player to demand a trade. Apparently he is jealous of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami, so he wants to be traded to a competitive team immediately. Ideally Paul would like to be traded to the New York Knicks where he could play alongside Amare Stoudemire, and potentially Carmelo Anthony next season.
“Those guys want to beat the three guys in Miami,” a source close to the situation said.
I can’t blame a guy for trying to get traded to a better team, but bottom line: there’s no way the Hornets are giving him away. They may be willing to trade him if he gets disgruntled, but it’s still going to cost the Knicks a very pretty penny.
