Pat Knight ejected against Nebraska

Texas Tech basketball coach Pat Knight goes crazy and gets ejected after his player Alan Voskuil gets thrown to the ground by a Nebraska player.

The Cornhuskers won the game 82-69.

I bet Daddy is so proud of him.

Sammy the Owl gets ejected

Rice University’s mascot, Sammy the Owl gets ejected from the basketball game against Tulane on Wednesday for headbutting the referee. Without their mascot Rice had a hard time focusing on the game, as a result they lost 61-59.

Billy Gillispie hates stupid questions

Kentucky coach Billy Gillispie was asked a question about Jodie Meeks at halftime of the Kentucky – Ole Miss game. When he didn’t have an answer for the question he basically told the sideline reporter Jeannine Edwards that she’s a bad reporter with dumb questions.

Alabama coach Mark Gottfried resigns

In his 11th year with the basketball team, Mark Gottfried has resigned as the head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Kay Yow passes away at 66

North Carolina State’s hall of fame women’s basketball coach Kay Yow lost her battle with breast cancer and died Saturday at the age of 66.

“Whether one of her players, an opposing coach, a friend, an associate in the world of sports or one who observed her grace, dignity, elegance, kindness and competitive spirit from a distance, you couldn’t help but be touched by her presence in our world,” ACC Commissioner John Swofford said.
