Although Tony Romo was trying to impersonate a blind quarterback during the debut of the brand new Cowboys stadium on Sunday, Owner Jerry Jones still backs him 100%.

You’d like for him not to have a day like that,” Jones said. “But when everybody is pointing fingers, when it didn’t go good, then you want someone who can walk into that huddle in the next snap at practice, the next snap in the ballgame and walk out there and cut and shoot and play like they just won the Super Bowl. That’s a great quarterback.”

Meanwhile, former Cowboys legend Tony Dorsett hates Romo with a passion.

“I don’t know why on God’s Earth Tony Romo has been anointed a superstar in the National Football League,” Hall of Fame running back Tony Dorsett told Fox Sports Radio. “Tony is very young in his career. Not to say you can’t be young in your career and be a superstar because you’ve got one up there in Minnesota in Adrian Peterson.

“But the thing is this: You have a guy who hasn’t done much, and quarterbacks in the NFL, most of them go through this growing curve. He hasn’t gone through that growing curve, but he was anointed this great player all of a sudden. Now he’s having to live up to that. And obviously Tony has some deficiencies.”

Romo isn’t a football star, he’s a celebrity quarterback. He isn’t known for his talent on the field, he’s known for dating Carrie Underwood and Jessica Simpson. As a quarterback the dude downright stinks.

Emmitt Smith will do just about anything for attention these day. Even if that means attacking the head coach and starting quarterback of his former team, the Dallas Cowboys.

“I never saw [Romo] go snatch somebody up, and say, ‘Hey, we can’t win like this. We can’t have guys jumping offsides. I can’t have [a defender] coming at me unabated. Who is making the mistakes up front? Why aren’t you picking this guy up? This is not going down this way. If you can’t get your job done, get off the football field,’ ” Smith said.

Smith also said he wishes Wade Phillips would make enemies,not friends, in the locker room.

“[Belichick and Coughlin] don’t come in trying to make friends,” Smith told Sirius radio. “Matter of fact, they created a bunch of enemies and then made the enemies get on their terms, and then they moved forward. And that’s one thing I believe the Dallas Cowboys can use.”

As much as we’d like to disagree, everything he said is 100% true.

Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Leonard Davis, Marc Colombo and Cory Procter and their band “Free Reign” has signed a recording contract with Australia’s Riot Entertainment.

“Free Reign is a band with massive potential,” Riot owner John Howarth said. “There has been an enormous buzz surrounding them since they appeared on the scene a few months ago. Free Reign has already been flooded with endorsements. Their marketing potential is limitless. These guys are already huge sports stars, but they have shown they have the talent to diversify.”

Their debut album will be scheduled for release this fall.

After hearing that his team is considering bringing back Adam “Pacman” Jones, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones quickly denied the reports.

“I have no plans to bring Adam back,” Jones said.

Bringing Pacman back would make absolutely no sense for the Cowboys. They just got rid of one cancer (Terrell Owens) why would they bring back another one? Besides, Adam Jones isn’t even a good football player; he’s just a distraction.

According to sources the Dallas Cowboys have released star wide receiver Terrell Owens late Wednesday night.

In late February Cowboys owner Jerry Jones tried to deny the possibility of releasing Owens.

“That Stephen and I were debating about Terrell, that’s just misinformation,” Jones said regarding his son, Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones at the time. “That’s just not accurate. I don’t know where that comes from. That’s just total misinformation.”

Its been said many times but Terrell Owens is a cancer and the Cowboys needed to cut him a long time ago. Without Owens on the team destroying the team chemistry, quarterback Tony Romo will finally have a chance to become their one and only leader on offense. Romo will also benefit from being able to throw the ball to whoever is open instead of forcing it to crybaby T.O. just so he doesn’t whine throughout the week.
