The 59-year old Tom Watson blew his chances at becoming golf’s oldest major champion ever when he missed an easy 8-foot putt on the 18th hole which forced a 4-hole playoff with Stewart Cink. During the playoff, Watson was clearly exhausted and never came close to contending with Cink.
John Daly wore bright pink pants during Sunday’s final round of the BMW PGA Championship to show his support for Phil Mickelson’s wife who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

Phil Mickelson has suspended his PGA Tour schedule indefinitely after his wife, Amy, was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Angel Cabrera became the first Argentine to ever win The Masters on Sunday after surviving the first 3 man sudden-death playoff in 22 years at Augusta National.
