She’s also an author of a book called Golf Training: The Secrets to Effective Practice and a Lower Score (Finally!).

Nationality: Japanese
Career Achievements: Youngest player in the history of the Japan LPGA Tour (JLPGA) to finish first on the money list. As of 2008 she’s playing in the US on the LPGA Tour, where she finished fifth in her first tournament, the SBS Open at Turtle Bay.

Nationality: American
Career Achievements: Was a contestant on “The Big Break V” on The Golf Channel (you’ll find this to be a common theme on this list, as “The Big Break” tends to pick players based on their appearance every bit as much as their golfing ability). Played for the University of South Florida and now works for the Florida State Golf Association.

Career Achievements: Park was a top amateur in the United States, winning Rolex Junior Player of the Year in 1994 and 1996. She moved from that to the Futures Tour, where she utterly dominated, before moving on to the LPGA Tour. She’s won six tournaments since moving to the LPGA.
