Rachel Alexandra and jockey Calvin Borel won the 134th Preakness Stakes on Saturday. With the win Rachel Alexandra goes down in histroy as the first filly to win the Peakness since 1924 and she became the first horse to win both the Kentucky Oaks and then the Preakness.

As was expected, Big Brown won the Preakness Stakes by a wide margin. He is poised to become the first Triple Crown winner in 30 years. Barring injury he should be the clear favorite going into the Belmont Park.
