Surgery on Yao’s foot goes as planned

Yao Ming had surgery to repair a broken bone in his left foot on Tuesday. According to the doctor, everything went as planned.

“Everything went according to play, and we were able to achieve not only fixation of the broken bone but also realignment of the bones to improve the stress pattern on his foot,” Dr. Clanton said in the statement. Read the rest of this entry »

Yao Ming opts for surgery; likely out next season

Foot injury could end Yao Ming’s Career

The Houston Rockets may be wqithout Yao Ming for a lot longer than originally thought. The team has recently admitted his recovery from a foot injury is behind schedule and their worried he’ll miss all of next season, if not longer.
