Six-time Pro Bowl defensive end Jason Taylor has agreed to a 1-year, $1.1 million with his former team, the Miami Dolphins.

Current free agent Jason Taylor has recently said that he would hate to play for the New York Jets but he would absolutely love it if he returned to Miami to play for the Dolphins.
Just a year after trading a 2nd and 6th round draft picks for defensive end Jason Taylor the Washington Redskins have released the former defensive player of the year due to his lack of workout commitment.

Bill Parcells finally felt the need to reach out and express his desire to have Jason Taylor return to the Miami Dolphins.
Of course I want him here, why wouldn’t you want one of the very best players?” Parcells said in an interview with The Associated Press. “This thing has kind of taken on a life of its own and a large measure of this ‘rift’ is fabrication. I don’t really know what the genesis was, other than there was some talk about a trade and people naturally thinking that when I come in it’s going to be confrontational. And that’s not necessarily true.”
Better late than never I suppose but the whole Parcells vs. Taylor fued could have been avoided if this was said months ago.
