Miami Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter is defending Plaxico Burress for carrying an unlicensed gun into a nightclub and shooting himself.
“Plaxico is like a brother to me. I take it real personal how he’s being treated,” Porter said.

Apparently Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter got tired of attacking Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall so he has decided to go after Jaguars receiver Matt Jones instead.
“He got caught with cocaine and Matt Jones is still playing football,” Porter said.

Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter and Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall apparently hate each other. It all started when Porter accused Marshall of being a mentally soft receiver earlier in the week.
“He’s one of those guys that if he don’t get the ball in the first two series in the first quarter, he’s out of it,” Porter said.
Former Steelers and current Dolpins linebacker Joey Porter thinks the New England Patriots dynasty should have an Asterisk.
“They cheated. There should be an asterisk,” Porter said. “They cheated and they got caught. Why, if you have nothing to hide, would you destroy [the evidence]? That’s how I’ve looked at it from the beginning. Why destroy something that doesn’t have to be destroyed? Let everyone know what was on the tapes. Why would you destroy them so fast?”
I’m just surprised Porter had the time to talk to the media, he’s usually busy locking lips with Bill Cowher.
