It’s official. Lance Armstrong lost the Tour de France and took 3rd place below second place finisher Andy Schleckwinner and the champion Alberto Contador.
Lance Armstrong all but conceded the Tour de France to his teammate Alberto Contador after the Spaniard seized the yellow jersey and won the 15th stage on Sunday.
Lance Armstrong has stated that he will be returning to the sport of cycling and he’s 100% committed to competing in the 2009 Tour de France.
“Look at the Olympics. You have a swimmer like Dara Torres. Even in the 50-meter [freestyle] event, the 41-year-old mother proved you can do it,” Armstrong said. Read the rest of this entry »
