Milwaukee Brewers prospect Jeremy Jeffress has been suspended for 100 games after his 3rd violation of basebal’ls minor league drug program.

The Milwaukee Brewers have signed Ken Macha to a two-year deal to manage the team.
Macha believes he has learned a lot from his previous experience as the manager for the Oakland A’s.
“The four years in Oakland I learned a tremendous amount of baseball, don’t get me wrong,” Macha said.

The Philadelphia Phillies have taken a 2-0 lead in the NL playoff series after defeating the Milwaukee Brewers 5-2 Thursday night.
Brewers pitcher CC Sabathia doesn’t think his short rest had anything to do with his team losing.
Thanks to CC Sabathia and Ryan Braun, the Milwaukee Brewers have clinched a playoff berth for the first time since 1982 after their 3-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs.
