Texas Rangers center fielder Josh Hamilton is having surgery today to repair a partial tear in an abdominal muscle. The team was actually happy to announce the news after doctors told them Hamilton is only scheduled to miss 4-6 weeks.

Here’s the video of St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Rick Ankiel slams into the outfield wall headfirst and needed to be carried off on a stretcher.

Thankfully he has been released from the hospital after x-rays came back negative and he regained full movement in both his legs and arms.
