Due to a rift with UFC president Dana White , former light heavyweight champion of the world Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has announced his retirement from MMA.
Former Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker has signed a deal to become the newest fighter for Strikeforce. The 47-year-old former running back will train for the next 8-to-12 weeks and plans to make his MMA debut in 2010.
Even though Gina Carano suffered an embarrassing loss a week ago to Cyborg Santos that certaintly won’t stop us from covering the worlds hottest MMA star. In a recent interview with ESPN Magazine, Carano reveals some information about her period, and why it’s important for her to wear 3 bras every time she fights.

Here’s the full fight video of the highly anticipated fight which took place on Saturday against Cris “Cyborg” Santos and Gina Carano. Cyborg won by knock-out with just 1 second left on the clock. We watched it live, and it was a great fight while it lasted. We’d love to see a rematch.

Our prediction: Cyborg wins by submission. Carano has never been in the octagon against anyone nearly as talented as Cyborg. However, Carano shouldn’t feel bad, she’s still way better looking.
Boxer Roy Jones Jr. says he wants to fight UFC star Anderson Silva when Silva’s contract with UFC is over.
In the boxing ring it would be a very interesting fight, but in the octagon Jones would get killed. I would sure hope Jones could take Silva in the boxing ring, but lately his chin has been suspect at best.
