The Denver Nuggets took a 2-0 lead over the Hornets after beating New Orleans 108-93 on Wednesday night. Chauncey Billups led Denver in scoring with 31 points while Carmelo Anthony led the team in assists, steals and blocks.

The San Antonio Spurs are heading to the Western Conference finals after defeating the New Orleans Hornets 91-82 in game 7 of the series.
“I’m glad that’s over,” Popovich said afterward. “The Hornets are an unbelievably tough team in every way you could imagine, and they had a fantastic year. I don’t think there’s any doubt their time will come.”
