The New York Knicks just got a whole bunch better after agreeing to a deal with star Amare Stoudemire. The forward will reportedly sign a five year contract worth $99.7 million which will will reunite him with coach Mike D’Antoni.
Unfortunately, nobody really cares too much about Stoudemire. As soon as he announced his decision, the media started to hound him with questions about LeBron James possibly coming to join him.
“I feel great, really, about being a pioneer,” said Stoudemire. “I think he feels great about it. It’s a situation where no one wanted to make that first move, and I felt confident enough to take that first step, and hopefully now we can bring in a few guys to join us.”
“I’m definitely going to reach out to him again and see if we can get him to come. I really have no reading on which way he is leaning at all, but again, he’s totally open right now, he hasn’t made a decision yet, and hopefully I can get him to choose us.”
It’s sad that the media is so in love with the overrated LeBron James that they don’t even let Stoudemire enjoy such a special moment in his life. If LeBron was actually good, maybe I could understand it. But the facts are he hasn’t ever won diddly squat, and he probably never will.

Now that would have been the best Cheerleader fail ever! Unfortunately, her cheerleading partners didn’t really care that she was falling and left her land hard on her ass.
New York Knicks short 5-foot-9 guard Nate Robinson won the Slam Dunk competition over defending Champ Dwight Howard Saturday night with his “Superman” like dunk which earned him 52% of fan votes.
The New York Knicks have told Stephon Marbury to stay away from them until both sides agree to a buyout offer.
“After meeting with Stephon and his representative this afternoon, we have directed Stephon not to participate in practice or attend games until further notice,” Knicks president Donnie Walsh said in a statement. Read the rest of this entry »
