Major League Soccer has fined Houston Dynamo forward Brian Ching $500 after he used Twitter to express his anger towards a referee.
“Ref in seattle just cheated the dynamo,” Ching tweeted. “What a joke. Not even close. Ref is a cheat.”

NFL Ref Garth DiFelice was so pumped up during the 49ers-Rams game he flattened Rams running back Kenneth Darby.
One of the NFL’s best refs, Mike Carey, had a really bad day during Sunday’s Falcons vs. Chargers game. The first clip shows Carey forgetting a penalty call mid-sentence and the 2nd clip shows him getting knocked down by Falcons QB Matt Ryan.
The refs during the Falcons vs. Eagles games ruled this a muffed punt by Adam Jennings even though the ball obviously never touched him.
The NFL would be wise to invest some money in eyeglasses for all of their referees.
