Rick Ankiel was carted off the field on Monday night after slamming head first into the outfield wall. He lay motionless in the outfield while Cardinals trainers attended to him, but gave a thumbs up to the crowd while being taken off on a stretcher. The Cardinals later said Ankiel has feeling in his legs and arms. Here is the video, but be ready to cringe, it is tough to watch:
